Until this page is completed with real details, the site should not be published to the public. That is recorded as a release blocker in the project documentation. This is not a "coming soon" placeholder and it is not a temporary build state — it is a missing legal prerequisite.
Which law applies is itself unknown
The operator-disclosure rules that bind a website depend on where its operator is established and which markets it addresses. Because the operator has not been named, that jurisdiction cannot be determined here, and we are not going to guess one.
What can be stated without guessing: this site is written in English for an international audience, so if the operator turns out to be established in the EU or EEA, or directs this service at people there, Article 5 of Directive 2000/31/EC (the e-Commerce Directive), as transposed into that country's own law, requires the operator to make the following "easily, directly and permanently accessible":
- the name of the service provider;
- the geographic address at which the service provider is established;
- contact details, including an electronic mail address, allowing rapid, direct and effective communication;
- where the provider is entered in a trade or similar public register, that register and the registration number;
- where the activity is subject to an authorisation scheme, the particulars of the relevant supervisory authority;
- for regulated professions: the professional body, the professional title and the Member State that granted it, and a reference to the applicable professional rules;
- where the provider carries on a VAT-liable activity, its VAT identification number.
Article 5(2) adds that where prices are given, they must be indicated clearly and unambiguously, stating whether tax and delivery costs are included. The source figures shown on this site are seller listing prices in yuan; they exclude the agent's service fee, domestic and international shipping, and any import duty or tax. Member States transpose that Article into their own national rules, and other countries impose comparable requirements of their own. What has to be filled in before launch
At minimum: the exact legal or trading name and legal form; the full establishment address; a contact e-mail address that has actually been checked to exist; the registration number and register, if the operator is registered; the VAT number, if VAT-liable; and the person responsible for the content.
A contact form is not a substitute. These rules ask for an identifiable publisher, not merely a way to send a message.
