Product pages, marketplace links and agent links

A single item on this sheet sits behind a few different URLs. Knowing which is which saves confusion when a link asks you to sign in or looks different from what you expected.

Three kinds of URL

  • The source page (FansSheets). Every item here was collected from a FansSheets product page. That page holds the title, photo, listing price and a set of agent links. Our "View source page" button opens it.
  • The marketplace listing. Behind the agent link is the seller's own listing on a Chinese marketplace — in this batch, Weidian. You rarely open this directly; the agent reads it for you.
  • The agent link (Kakobuy). This is the one you act on. It hands the marketplace listing to Kakobuy so you can order through them. Our "View on Kakobuy" button opens it.

Why we don't guess links

An agent link is only trustworthy if it came from the real listing. We never build a Kakobuy URL from a title, an ID or a guessed pattern, and we never turn an agent's homepage, sign-up page or search page into a product link. If a verified product-level link was not present on the source page, the item would not carry a working agent button. Links are copied directly from the source product page on FansSheets. Some agent sites refuse automated checks, so we cannot machine-verify every destination and we do not claim live stock or per-link testing.

Other agents on the source page

The FansSheets source pages usually list the same item with several agents, not only Kakobuy. This sheet is built around Kakobuy because that is its theme, but you are free to open the source page and pick a different agent that you already use. We do not claim Kakobuy is the cheapest, safest or best option — that choice is yours.

Reading a link before you click

You can hover a button to see where it goes. A genuine agent product link uses HTTPS, the agent's real domain (here kakobuy.com), and carries the encoded marketplace address. Be wary of any link that drops the marketplace address, points at a login or checkout with no item, or uses a look-alike domain.
